Syracuse, N.Y. — Pinnacle Holding Co. plans to move its headquarters from Syracuse’s Franklin Square to the new headquarters building of the Widewaters Group and Cushman & Wakefield | Pyramid Brokerage Co. in DeWitt.
Pinnacle CEO Gregg Kidd said the financial and employee servicing firm will make the move from 507 Plum St. to 5845 Widewaters Parkway on April 1, 2021.
Kidd said the company has outgrown its Franklin Square location, which has been its headquarters since 2008. Its current offices are 12,000 square feet and are spread over two floors. Its office on Widewaters Parkway will have 14,500 square feet of space on a single floor, he said.
“We’ve outgrown our space,” said Kidd. “There’s no more room for us in this building.”
Pinnacle employs 100 people, including 50 at its headquarters. Kidd co-founded the firm in 1996 as an investment brokerage. Since then, it has expanded nationally into asset management, insurance, retirement planning, and employee services such as human resources, payroll, and benefits.
Construction began on the new, 40,887-square-foot headquarters for the Widewaters Group and Pyramid Brokerage in October 2019 and is nearly complete.
